C. Russell JOHNSON died yesterday afternoon.....Bur. New Sweden Cemetery west of Four Corners. Born Sept 14 1888 at Glendale, son of the late Charles H. and Selma Veburg JOHNSON; married Feb 1 1917 Myrtle NELSON who died May 13 1927. In Mt. Pleasant, July 3 1944 he married May RIGGS who survives. Employed by the county. Methodist Church. Survived by wife and following children: Howard JOHNSON, Fairfield; C. Donald JOHNSON, Ottumwa, and Carroll JOHNSON, Keokuk; 5 grandchildren, a brother, Lawrence JOHNSON, Fairfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida CROSSLAND, Fairfield, and Mrs. Clara HAMMOND, Fairfield.
