Mrs. CASTILE Taken In Death

Mrs. Lila E. CASTILE, 77, 111 Iowa Ave., died today at 6:08 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday. She suffered a stroke Monday at her home.

Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. James Dendler. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. CASTILE was born March 20, 1890 in Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Anna LYNDOL JACOBS. She was reared and educated in the Salina community.

She was first married to Harley BATES. In 1942 she was married to Andrew R. CASTILE, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Orlando J. BATES, Fairfield; and Max H. BATES, South Bend, Ind.

Other survivors are four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and the following sisters: Mrs. Ray STONER and Mrs. Carl DIEHL, Fairfield; Mrs. George ANDERSON, Abingdon, Ill.; and Mrs. Kenneth BURNS, Fenton, Ill.

Mrs. CASTILE was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Lila E. CASTILE, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Lila E. CASTILE Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 27th day of September, 1967, the last will and testament of Lila E. CASTILE deceased bearing date of the 20th day of May, 1961, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Andrew R. CASTILE was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of his notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
