Mrs. Charles A WELLHAF, 408 N. Main Street, life-time Jefferson county resident, passed away yesterday afternoon at the Jefferson county hospital at 2:00 p.m. She had been in ill health the past four years.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hoskins Funeral Home with Dr. E. A. Piper in charge. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Hilma Josephine WOELLHAF was born October 31, 1866 in Jefferson county where she spent her entire life. She had lived in Fairfield 66 years and was married to Charles WOELLHAF 61 years ago. She was a member of Hawkeye Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are her husband, three children, Guy A. and Charles H. WOELLHAF of Fairfield and a daughter, Mrs. Pauline FIRPO of Gary, Indiana; three brothers, Emil QUICK of Four Corners, Ed QUICK of Fairfield and William of Olds, and one sister, Mrs. Ida GILLEN of Davenport. Three children, Margaret, Roy and Louise, preceded her in death.
