Mrs. Clara Marie JACOBS, former Jefferson County resident, died Monday at the home of her son, Harry JACOBS in Burlington. Last rites will be held Thursday at 1:30 P.M. at the First Augustana Lutheran Church here in charge of Dr. E.A. Piper. Burial will be in the New Sweden cemetery.

The formerl Clara ANDERSON, Mrs. JACOBS was born July 21, 1865, in Sweden, and came to Illinois at the age of 23. She was married to Albert JACOBS in 1892. He preceded her in death in 1916.

Mrs. JACOBS is survived by three sons - Roy of Fairfield, Harry of Burlington, and Lloyd of Central City. Nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two brothers, Oscar ANDERSON, Galesburg, Illinois, and Claus ANDERSON, Rock Island, Illinois, also survive.

She was a member of the First Augustana Lutheran Church.
