Mrs. Anna C. JACOBS died Sunday morning at her home 4 miles northeast of Salina. She had been a sufferer from paralysis for some time. She was the widow of John JACOBS who died May 1905. Mrs. JACOBS was a native of Sweden and was 75 years of age. She and her husband were among the early Swedish settlers of Jefferson County and had resided here for more than half a century.

They reared a large family and among its surviving members are Mrs. Carl MOBURG of this city, Mrs. Frank JACOBSON of Ottumwa, Henry JACOBS of Galesburg, Illinois, Albert, August and Frank JACOBS of this county. Mrs. JACOBS was a woman of many kind qualities, a good neighbor and a sympathizing friend. There were many people in the community in which she had lived so long who will mourn her death. The body was interred in the Swedish Lutheran Cemetery at Four Corners Tuesday, Rev. J.M. Peresnius conducting the funeral service.
