Daniel KAUFFMAN died on Friday in Marshalltown.... well advanced in years. Brother of Lemuel KAUFFMAN and was the father of Mrs. George PATTERSON of this city....

LIFE OF DANIEL KAUFFMAN, who died June 24 at Marshalltown, son of George and Esther KAUFFMAN, pioneer residents of this county. He was 65 years of age and was united in marriage March 16, 1865, in this city to Sarah Wiley TITUS, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. TITUS.

Four children -- the two who survive are Harry S. of Waterloo, and Mrs. G. PATTERSON of this city. Later in life he was again married to Mrs. Christine SNOOK who with one daugher, Mrs. Ruth STACKHOUSE, survive him. L. S. KAUFFMAN of this city is a brother. A man of kindly disposition and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
