"Fairfield Ledger", May 15, 1907, Pg. 9, Col. 1

Blanche M. LONG died in this city Monday evening... She was the youngest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. LONG, was born in this city March 13th, 1867, and grew to womanhood here. She was a pupil in the city schools, a student at Parsons College and a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a bright and intelligent girl and developed into a woman of many excellences. She was devoted to her home and the comfort of those about her, and it is probable that the care she gave her aged mother led to the breaking down of her own health.

Four members of her family survive her and will have the sympathy of the community in their sorrow. They are Wm. L. LONG of this city, C. S. LONG of Trenton, Mrs. A. M. BRYANT and Geo. S. LONG, of Colorado.....
