FORMER FAIRFIELD RESIDENT PASSED AWAY IN SEATTLE. Word was received by relatives yesterday of the death of Mrs. Ann Mary GLASGOW, which occurred at her home in Seattle, Washington. She was in her 87th year, and was the sixth child of a family of twelve children here. Mrs. GLASGOW will be remembered here by the early pioneers as Ann Mary STEVER, daughter of Adam and Elizabeth STEVER. When she married Samuel GLASGOW they made their home on a farm until about twenty years ago, when they moved with their family to Seattle, Washington, where they have since resided.
Mrs. GLASGOW is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Samuel ARCHER and Miss Grace GLASGOW, and four grandchildren, all of Seattle, two sisters, Mrs. Almira AXLINE of Pratt, Kansas, and Miss Jennie STEVER of this city; also a host of friends who will sincerely mourn the passing away of this useful and charitable woman who did so much to bring comfort and happiness to others."
*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.
