"Fairfield Daily Journal", Mon., June 2, 1919

Mrs. Elizabeth WISECARVER died Sunday morning at 9:15. Age 84 years, 5 months 12 days. Survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Clara SWOPE of Mankato, Kansas; Mrs. Alice DOROTHY of Hope, N.D.; and Dan, Tom, and Charley STOUT, all of this city. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

From the Minutes of the Jefferson County Historical Society's meetings: June 4, 1919

Mrs. Elizabeth A. CRANE WISECARVER died June 1 aged 84. Mrs. W.'s first husband's name was Abraham McCULLUM and he died in the Civil War in Arkansas. The body was brought home and buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, where the bride of his youth, after so many years, was laid by his side.
