AFTER YEARS OF SUFFERING... Mrs. Eleanor LONG died in this city Friday. She was a daughter of the late Andrew GREGG and was born in Guernsey County, Ohio, October 15th, 1836. The family came to this county in 1847, and the daughter was married here in 1855 to W. H. CORBITT. The husband died in 1862, leaving four (three) children. Two of the little ones were killed while crossing the C.B. & Q. railway tracks at Mitchell's Crossing, three miles west of this city, in the late '60s, and only one is now living, Chas H. CORBITT of Kiona, Wash., formerly auditor of Jefferson County.
July 4th, 1865, Mrs. CORBITT was married to David LONG, who died in this county in 1885. There were three children born of this union; only one of whom survives the parents, Arthur D. LONG of this city....
It seemed that more than the usual burden of grief and misfortune came to her, but she bore it uncomplainingly... M.E. Church.... The body was interred in this city Saturday afternoon....

OBITUARY. Eleanor (GREGG) (CORBITT) LONG... Mr. CORBITT died in 1862. Three children were born to this union, C. H. CORBITT of Kiona, Washington, being the only survivor.... Mrs. LONG died at her home at 400 West Washington Street, this city, at 11:20 p.m. Friday, June 29, 1906.... cancer.
