DEATH OF MRS. MILAM.

Editors Ledger:-- Mrs. Sarah A., wife of John MILAM, died at the home of her husband in Liberty township, on Oct. 16th. Deceased was born in Lancaster, Penn., August 5th, 1827. At the age of eight years she removed with her father's family to Louisville, Kentucky, where she was married to John MILAM in 1849. She had been a member of the Baptist church since 1847. In 1865 the family removed to this state which has since been their home. Mrs. MILAM was the mother of seven children, five sons and two daughters, all of whom are living, and with the exception of two sons, John H. and Simon W., all were present at her burial. The former, who lives at Washington, Kansas, was here with his family only a few weeks ago. Mrs. MILAM was a kind and loving wife and mother and a devoted friend. In the various communities in which she had lived in this county she was held in the highest esteem. Her remains were interred in the cemetery in this city.
