Emeline RIDER was born in Claysville, Washington County, Penn., Nov. 5, 1841. In 1847 she, with her parents, came to Jefferson County, Iowa, which has since been her home, until two years ago, when she with her husband and son, removed to Wyoming where she passed away Jan. 5, 1910. She was married in 1875 to J. M. BLACK of this county, who, with a son, William R., survives. She also leaves four brothers, George L. RIDER of Creston, T.M. and Henry of this county, and W. T. RIDER of Los Angeles, Calif.... Funeral services were held in Luther, Wyo.; burial Luther Cemetery.
