ILLNESS FATAL TO WILLIAM RANDALL. Long time Fairfield resident and an early member of the Fairfield fire department, passed away about 4 p.m. Friday at the Hazel FABER home southeast of Pleasant Plain. He had been in failing health for the past several years and had been cared for in the FABER home for some time. The body is at the Hoskins Funeral Home where last rites are pending.
William "Billy" RANDALL, 92, was born Oct. 5, 1860, at Chariton, Iowa. He moved to Fairfield when a young man and had made his home here until he went to the FABER home when his health failed him. His wife passed away in 1902. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Etta HALSEY, Oakland, Calif.. For many years RANDALL drove the Rock Island express wagon, hauling the express from the depot to the downtown office. In later years he was employed at a local factory until his retirement. Before going to the FABER home he lived at 307 E. Washington Street.

WILLIAM RANDALL FUNERAL TODAY. Last rites were held this afternoon for William RANDALL, long-time Fairfield resident who passed away Friday after a lengthy illness. The services were held at the Hoskins Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial was in the City Cemetery. RANDALL passed away at the Hazel FABER home near Pleasant Plain where he had been cared for as a patient for the past several years.
