SUDDEN DEATH. -- Mr. Eli HOOPES, an old resident of our county, died suddenly at his residence two miles east of town on Sunday night last. He was in town on Friday previous. He was in the 59th year of his age. He had always proved himself an exemplary citizen, and his loss is deeply deplored by a large family and many friends.
