DEATH OF ALLEN PORTER WHITE. In Fairfield, Iowa, Jan. 27, 1882, of typhoid fever and arterial hemorrhage of the bowels, Allen Porter WHITE, aged 24 years, 7 months and 20 days. Deceased was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he lived nearly all his life. He was the eldest son of Nathan T. and Lovina M. WHITE, and survived his father scarcely five months. A grandmother, two sisters, a brother, and a large circle of schoolmates, friends and acquaintances mourn his loss....
