DEATH OF MRS. ANN STEEL.... which occurred at her home in this city Friday, Oct. 9th...

Miss Ann HOLIDAY was born in Ohio and came to Iowa in 1857. In 1858 she was married to Mr. George STEEL, whose death occurred about a year after their marriage. At the time of her death Mrs. STEEL was 63 years of age. She was buried Sunday afternoon, the funeral sermon being preached in the M.E. Church by Rev. Frank Evans. She was an exemplary member of that church, and a woman of kind and amiable disposition, and one whose loss is sincerely mourned. Her remains were followed to the grave by sympathizing relatives and friends.
