The remains of the late Mrs. Wm. CARNES were brought here from Ottumwa Monday and buried beside those of her husband, who died here years ago. Rev. Osborne, of the M.E. Church, conducted the services at the grave. The CARNES family will be remembered by the older settlers. Mrs. CARNES died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eli LAWSON, in Ottumwa.
