Front Page, Column 7WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF FAIRFIELD DIES
Mrs. Jerry DEARDURFF passed away in Mt. Pleasant yesterdayMrs. Ethel M. DEARDURFF, 67, well known resident and widow of the late Jerry DEARDURFF, passed way yesterday morning at Mt. Pleasant after a lingering illness (note: in Henry Co., IA).
Mrs. DEARDURFF was born Oct. 9, 1875, in New Hartford, Minn. She was united in marriage to Jerry DEARDURFF on March 23, 1934.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Fairfield and also a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 96.
She is survived by one son, Phillip JONES, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. William STANTON. Mr. DEARDURFF preceded her in death on January 31, 1941.
The body was taken to the Weston Behner funeral home where funeral arrangements are pending. It is thought that the services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Behner funeral home and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jerry DEARDURFF, who passed away in Mt. Pleasant Thursday, are being held at the Weston Behner funeral home at 3:00 p.m. today with Dr. William R. Yingling in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. William STANTON, a sister who lives in Minnesota, arrived last night to attend the services.
