ANSWERED LAST ROLL CALL. David S. MURRAY, a soldier of the Civil War, died at his home near Perlee Monday. He had been an invalid almost ever since his discharge from the army, the result of six months' imprisonment in the hell-hole known as Andersonville prison.

Born near Perlee December 26, 1840, where he grew to manhood. Enlisted in Co. I, 17th Iowa Infantry March 24, 1862.... Married Sept. 5th, 1889, to Miss Hattie A. MOFFORD, who, with two chidren, survives. A good citizen, a brave soldier, an honest and conscientious man... Funeral services held at Perlee this morning, Capt. John A. SPIELMAN of the Seventeenth reading a sketch of his dead comrade's life. The body was interred in the City Cemetery this afternoon with military honors by George Strong Post, G.A.R..
