DIED--in Brookville, Jefferson County, Iowa, May 14th, 1858, Wilson, son of Eli and Martha DEARDUFF (sic - DEARDURFF), aged two years and eleven months.

Transcriber's note: Martha's maiden name was GANTZ - JEFFERSON COUNTY RECORDS, Vol. 11, by Orville & Mary Prill; DEARDUFF was spelled differently on Evergreen Cemetery tombstones- DEARDURFF.

Admin note: Not noted which cemetery he's buried in, but since he passed away several years before Evergreen Cemetery was established, he may have been buried in the Old Fairfield City Cemetery, which adjoins Evergreen on the west end. A listing of Evergreen burials 1870-1990 did not include Wilson, although his parents are buried there on Lot Old.P.025.
