DEATH OF A FORMER RESIDENT. Mrs. Ruth D. ORR, wife of Dr. Wm. L. ORR, formerly of this city, but late of Ottumwa, died at that place Sunday evening, May 5th. She was the daughter of Nehemiah BALDWIN and came to this city with her parents from Washington County, Penn., in 1845. She was married in this city to Wm. L. ORR, a young physician, Feb. 24, 1846. They removed to Ottumwa in 1852, where they have since resided. Mrs. ORR was the mother of eight children, four of whom, together with her husband, survive.
