DEATH OF AN AGED WOMAN. Mrs. Sarah JEFFERS died in this city Friday evening in the ninety-third year of her age. Her maiden name was MEEK, and she was born in Washington County, Penn., December 28th, 1815. She was married to James JEFFERS in Belmont County, O., in June, 1839, and the young people came to this city seven years later. They left Fairfield within a year or two, but returned in 1855, and this city was afterwards their home. The husband died here December 7th, 1887.

Mrs. JEFFERS was the mother of nine children, only two of whom are now living, Martha and John, both residents of this city. She had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for 72 years.... Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Rev. Thomas Osborn conducted the exercises.
