Mrs. GREBER Dies

Mrs. Fred GREBER, former Fairfield resident, died Friday night in Denver, Colo.

The body will be brought to the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Arrangements are pending.

Mrs. GREBER had made her home with a daughter, Emelie GREBER.

GREBER Rites To Be Wednesday

Last rites will be Wednesday for Mrs. Fred GREBER, 85, long-time resident of the Fairfield Community who died Friday night at Denver, Colo.

The services Wednesday will be at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The casket is scheduled to arrive by plane in Cedar Rapids late tonight.

Nellie GREBER was born Aug. 23, 1885, at Beckwith. She was the daughter of John & Emily GEORGE KYLE. She was married to Fred GREBER May 1, 1919, and he died May 16, 1970.

Mrs. GREBER lived all her life in the Fairfield Community except when she left in August, 1969, to make her home with her daughter, Emelie, who teaches school at Wheat Ridge, Colo.

Mrs. GREBER was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Pythian Sisters and Eastern Star. She was the first cosmetologist to graduate and receive her certificate in Fairfield.

She is survived by her daughter. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
