James KENYON, an old resident of Jefferson County, died at his home near Abingdon last Monday morning, at the age of 63 years.

Mr. KENYON came from Ohio to this state in 1846, and with the exception of a short residence in California soon after the discovery of gold, has since lived in this county. He was highly respected.
