MRS. G. KELLER FUNERAL TODAY
Forer Resident of Jefferson County Dies in Stockport

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Methodist church at Stockport for Mrs. Gus KELLER, who died late Saturday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Lawrence SILVER in Stockport. The services were in charge of Rev. Omar L. Allison, pastor of the Methodist church there.

Mrs. KELLER had been in poor health for some time and was a native of Cedar Township in Jefferson County. Her maiden name was Kathryn ORIEZ, and she was a sister of Frank ORIEZ of this city.

Mr. KELLER survives, as well as several children.

MRS. GUSTANUS (sic) KELLER

Catherine Mary ORIEZ, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank ORIEZ was born in Cedar township, Jefferson county, Iowa, on October 11, 1854, and passed away on June 16, 1934 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Cora SILVERS of Stockport, Van Buren county, Ia. at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 25 days. On February 18, 1873 she was united in marriage to Gustanas KELLER of Jefferson county, Iowa. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last February.

To this union were born ten children, two of whom, Millie and Roy, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her going, her husband, eight children, 29 grand children and 17 great grandchildren.

The children are Mrs. Emma REED of Fairfield; Mrs. Minnie RUBEY of Mt Union; Mrs. Cora SILVERS of Stockport; Frank, Jule, Lue and John of Fairfield, and Gus of Canada.

She is survived by eight brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary BRUEY of Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. John SPEER and Mrs. Corine ORIEZ of Washington, Iowa; Philmne (sic) ORIEZ of Ottumwa; Frank and John ORIEZ of Fairfield and Theodore and Joe ORIEZ of Washington, Iowa.

Mrs. KELLER had been failing in health for a number of years but she had been bedfast only for the past three weeks.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Methodist church at Stockport, with the local pastor in charge. Interment was made in the Wright cemetery in Jefferson County.

Funeral Services for Mrs. G. KELLER Held in Stockport

Many relatives and friends of Mrs. Gus KELLER attended the last rites held for her yesterday afternoon in the Methodist church in Stockport, in charge of Rev. Omar L. Allison.

The pall bearers were Lloyd KELLER, Floyd KELLER, Roy RURY, Earl REED, Verne REED, and Marshall KELLER, all her grandsons. The singers were Miss Edna Crawford, Mrs. Helen Spencer, Frank Smith and Maurice, McGlothan, with Mrs. Bert Morrison at the piano. They sang, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."
