Mrs. Mary A. McDONALD, aged 82, and a resident of Jefferson County for more than half a century, passed away in this city on Oct. 27, at the family home on Jefferson Street....

Born Jan. 4, 1826, in Rockbridge County, Va.... Six children, three still living: Miss Flora McDONALD, of this city, Mrs. Jennie GAUDFREY, Taunton, Mass., and Calvin McDONALD residing in Missouri. In addition to the children, Mrs. McDONALD is survived by three brothers, S.A., J.E., and William CUMMINGS, and two sisters, Lucinda CUNNINGHAM of this city, and Mrs. Rachel DARE of Osceola. The life of Mrs. McDONALD has been an exemplary one....
