"Fairfield Journal", June 26, 1907, Pg. 2, Col. 2

Dr. Mary B. TUTTLE is dead in Pithgorah, India, of cholera. She was born and reared in this city, the TUTTLE home standing on the site now occupied by the GILBERT residence on E. Adams St.. Member of the class of Parsons College which graduated in 1883. She studied medicine under the late Dr. P. N. WOODS, who was known as one of the ablest plysicians in this section of the state at the time of his death.... Fairfield friends have never lost track of the remarkable work done by this woman in the medical field....

The family lot is in Evergreen Cemetery where Miss TUTTLE's parents are sleeping. If it has been possible to bring the remains to this country they would have been interred in this city by the side of her parents. Two brothers, Frank, of Cedar Rapids, and R. A. TUTTLE, of Los Angeles, Cal., survive the deceased. Her sister, Mrs. FRESH, died in Chicago last winter.....
