Funeral Arrangements Are Awaiting the Arrival Of RelativesMrs. Sarah I. AXLINE, age 75 years widow of John T. Axline, died this morning at 5:20 oclock following a stroke of paralysis last Wednesday morning, at the home of Mrs. E. M. West, 306 East Madison, with whom she has resided for the past five years. The body was taken to the Butler funeral home where funeral arrangements will be made upon the arrival of relatives.
Mrs. AXLINE was formerly Miss Sarah I. LEWIS and she was born July 9, 1852 in Jefferson county. Mr. AXLINE passed away August 12, 1922 in this city.
She is survived by a stepson Samuel E. Axline of Bloomfield and two sisters: Mrs. Mary RAINES of Goodland, Kansas, and Mrs. Lucy SADLER of Douds.

Last Services for Mrs. John T. AXLINE From the Christian ChurchFinal services for Mrs. John T. AXLINE who died Monday morning after being stricken with paralysis, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian church. Rev. George Parker conducted the services which were largely attended.
The pallbearers were: John Samuelson, J. E. Johnson, C. J. Johnson, Ray Mulkins, Albert Larson and J. P. Starr. Mrs. W. H. Neibert and Mrs. Glen V. Bates sang. the body was placed in the receiving vault at the Mausoleum yesterday awaiting the arrival of her sister, who was delayed. This afternoon interment took place in Evergreen cemetery.

AXLINE, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the district Court of Jefferson county, and that October 17th, A. D. 1927 at 1:30 oclock p.m., it being the 13th day of October Term, 1927, of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

MRS. J. T. AXLINE
Sarah I., daughter of Owen and Delilah LEWIS was born in Jefferson County, Iowa July 9th, 1852. She departed this life in Fairfield, Iowa, Oct. 3rd, 1927. At the age of 75 years, 2 months and 24 days. She was united to John T. AXLINE of Fairfield, Iowa, on Jan. 2, 1887 who preceded her in death on August 12th, 1922.
She was a member, in good and regular standing, of the First English Lutheran church of Fairfield and always showed a keen interest in the affairs of Christs Kingdom at home and abroad.
She is survived by a stepson Samuel E. AXLINE of Bloomfield, Iowa and two sisters: Mrs. Mary RAINES of Goodland, Kansas and Mrs. Lucy SADLER of Douds, Iowa.
Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at 2 oclock from the Christian church conducted by Rev. George G. Parker of the Lutheran church. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
