Mrs. Laura J. AXLINE, of this city, died at five o'clock last Friday, Jan. 6th, in her twenty-third year. She was the wife of Mr. J. T. AXLINE and daughter of Mr. S. H. WHITSON, an old citizen living south of town, where Mrs. AXLINE was born. Mrs. AXLINE was highly respected, and the news of her death will be heard with regret by all her acquaintances. She was buried on Sunday, the funeral taking place from the Lutheran church, the services being conducted by Rev. Sparr.
