DEATH OF AN OLD CITIZEN.

At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. PARSONS (sic - Jonathan H. PARSONS), near Libertyville, Jan. 18, 1880, Mrs. Margaret LAUGHLIN WILSON, in the 97th year of her age.

Born in Fayette Co., Pa., on New Year's Day, 1784; married Alexander WILSON in 1803 and about the same time united with the Dutch Creek Presbyterian Church. In 1839 she and family came to Iowa, settling in Jefferson County on the farm where she died. Husband died about 15 years since at the age of 89.....

Note: Buried in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville with husband Alexander who died in 1865.
