DEATH OF A FORMER RESIDENT. E. A. YOUNG of this city received word of the death of his father, N. W. YOUNG, of Stewart, Iowa.....Thurs. morning from injuries received in a runaway the night before. He was returning home from prayer meeting.....Aged some 63 years and for 15 years prior to 1871, he resided in this county near Richwoods church. Came to this county in 1854 and married here Miss Sarah E. GALLIHER. Wife and seven children survive. Children: Hannah E., Colorado Springs, Colo.; James G. of Oklahoma; E. A. of this city; Effie of Guthrie Center, Iowa; Charles W. of Adair County, Iowa; Ollie of Des Moines, Iowa; and Nellie, still at home.....
