Page 8James W. WELDAY, native of Jefferson County and a retired factory employee, died today at his home, 104 N. Third. Raymond Funeral Home. Fell Cemetery.
James Wales WELDAY, 75, was born Jan. 23, 1889, at Libertyville, son of John J. and Samantha FRY WELDAY. He was reared and educated in the Libertyville community. Nov. 8, 1913, married Bertha SAUER at Burlington. He had lived his entire life in Jefferson County, the past 55 years in Fairfield. Was employed at the Louden Machinery Company for a number of years until his retirement about ten years ago.
Survived by wife, one son, James WELDAY, Jr., Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Dorothy, Burlington; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
