Page 3, Column 4Mrs. Rebecca TIDBALL, widow of R A. TIDBALL, a member of the Graybeard regiment whose death occurred in 1866, died in Libertyville Saturday, December 1, 1888, at 3 o'clock p m, after an illness of 24 hours. Her death took place at the residence of her son in law, D. W GARBER. She was the mother of ten children, five sons and five daughters. Mother TIDBALL was 79 years and 21 days old. She had been a member of the Presbyterian church for 59 years and was an estimable and christian woman. The funeral was held Monday, December 3d, Rev. G. W. Barber conducting the exercises. Her remains were interred in the Fell cemetery.

The death of Mrs. Rebecca TIDBALL occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. W. GARBER, at Libertyville, Saturday, Dec. 1. It was quite sudden, she having been sick but one day, and her general health having been good up to that time. She was 79 years old, and had been a resident of this county since 1859, and a widow for twenty-two years. Of her children, Mrs. D. W. GARBER, with whom she lived at Libertyville; Mrs. Isabell KELLY, Mindon, Mo.; Charles and David TIDBALL, Grand Island, Nebraska, are living. She had been a faithful member of the Presbyterian church for 59 years. The funeral occurred at 10 o'clock A.M., Monday, from the residence, Rev. Barber conducting the service. Her remains were interred in the Fell cemetery. Hers was a life that gave title to the name of good mother and true Christian.
