FRY Funeral Set Thursday

Mrs. Hubert FRY, 79, lifetime resident of this community, died about noon Monday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health the past two months and seriously ill the past week. The FRYs' home is at 407 S. Court.

Funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home Thursday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ned Gillum in charge. Burial will be in the Wright cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Elsie May FRY was born Sept. 4, 1887, the daughter of James and Dorothy PEEBLER STEWART. She was married to Hubert FRY on Aug. 28, 1912. They lived on a farm southeast of Fairfield in the Wooster Community for over 38 years, and have lived in Fairfield for the past 15 years.

Mrs. FRY was a member of the First Christian Church, and the Fairfield Chapter of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Harold W. JARVIS of Washington and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and three sisters.
