STEWARTElilian Dorothy PEEBLER was born Nov. 15, 1864, and departed this life at Libertyville, Iowa, June 5, 1925, dying after two strokes of paralysis from which she never entirely regained consciousness. She was married to James A. STEWART, January 7, 1886, and together they made their home in Libertyville, until she was removed by death. She is survifed (sic) by her husband, James A. STEWART; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie FRY of Glasgow and Mrs. Leona SCHWARTZ of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Ray HESTON and Vera FRY; her father, M.D. PEEBLER, two brothers, John W. PEEBLER and Dr. O.F. PEEBLER of Omaha, Nebraska; four sisters: Mrs. J.M. WIGGINS of Livermore, Iowa; Mrs. I.N. MOORE of Woodstown, New Jersey, Mrs. Deyo HASBROUCK of Sheridan, Wyoming and Mrs. E.C. McCLELLAND of San Bernardino, California. Two daughters preceded her in death, Mrs. Mary HESTON and Miss Orminda M. STEWART, also her mother and one sister.
Mrs. STEWART united with the Presbyterian church early in life, and remained a faithful member until her death.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church, Libertyville, Ia. Sunday afternoon, June 7, 1925, in the presence of a very large congregation of relatives and friends. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. O.M. Humphreys, and interment was made in the Fell Cemetery.

Admin. note: Husband James died in 1935 and is buried with her.
