Note: The RAIL name seems to have been a long time in Van Buren County. We (the late Mr. and Mrs. Prill) have noted old RAIL tombstones in the old Birmingham Cemetery east of the school-house, also in Maple Hill. Probably the oldest, birth date as well as death date, is in the old Birmingham Cemetery: RAIL, In memory of Benjamin, Sr., who was born March 20, 1792, and died September 17, 1848, Aged 56 yrs. & 6 m..
