Mrs. George PEEBLER had lived in this county all of her life
Ida L. PEEBLER, 77, passed away at her home in Batavia Thursday at 12:15. She had been in poor health fof the past eight years and seriously ill for the past eight months.
Fuenral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Campbell funeral Home in Batavia in charge of Rev. J. C. Utterback. Burial will be in Fell cemetery near Libertyville.
Mrs. PEEBLER was born near Libertyville, daughter of William and Hattie FELL. She married George PEEBLER, February 4, 1886, and had resided in Batavia since that time. She had been a resident of Jefferson county all of her life.
She was a member of the Batavia Christian church and Order of Eastern Star in Batavia.
Mrs. PEEBLER is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Ralph McDOWELL, Batavia; Mrs. Elmer COPELAND near Libertyville; Mrs. Harold PENCE, Fairfield; Wayne and Glen PEEBLER of near Batavia.
One brother, Frank FELL, of Seattle, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Laura JAMES, of Libertyville; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

MRS. GEORGE PEEBLERFuneral services were held in the Campbell Funeral parlor in Batavia for Mrs. George PEEBLER Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J.C. Utterback, pastor of the Christian church and O.E.S. was in charge.
Ida L. PEEBLER died in her home here Thursday, July 30, 1942, at 12:15 p.m. at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 20 days. Mrs. PEEBLER had been in failing health for the last 8 years and seriously ill for the last 8 months.
She was the daughter of the late William and Hattie SMITH FELL and was born March 10, 1865 near Libertyville. She was married to George PEEBLER February 4, 1886. Mr. and Mrs. PEEBLER resided in the Batavia community since their marriage.
She was a member of the Batavia Eastern Star chapter and of the Batavia Christian church.
Survivors besides her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph McDOWELL, Batavia, Mrs. Elmer COPELAND of near Libertyville and Mrs. Harold PENCE of Fairfield; two sons, Wayne and Glen of near Batavia; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Laura JAMES of Libertyville; and one brother, Frank FELL of Seattle, Washington.
Pallbearers were: Ralph McDowell, Harold Pence, Elmer Copeland, Arnold Morrison, George Peebler, and W.M. Stabler. Accompanist was Mrs. Lettie Pumphrey. Singers were Mrs. Netta Snyder and Mrs. Edith Cline. Burial was in Fell Cemetery.
