LIBERTYVILLE, Ia. - Mrs. Margaret D. PEEBLER, 82, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren DAVIS, at 12:30 p.m. after being in failing health for several months.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Libertyville Methodist church in charge of the Rev. Harley Yates and the Rev. Leland Groves. Burial will be in the Fell celebery near Libertyville.
Mrs. PEEBLER, the daughter of Henry and Ellen BRANTNER RODIBAUGH, was born May 3, 1872, in Jefferson county and spent most of her life in the Libertyville community. She was married Oct. 29, 1890, to Dan PEEBLER, who preceded her in death Sept. 10, 1947. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren near Libertyville for many years and had been an active member of the Ladies Aid society of the church.
Survivors are one son, Ellis, Medford, Ore.; twin daughters, Mrs. Warren DAVIS, Libertyville, and Mrs. Donald JAMES, Batavia, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dan KELLEY, Libertyville, and Mrs. Mary D. HORN, Farmington, and two brothers, Charlie RODIBAUGH, Libertyville, and Ray RODIBAUGH, Keosauqua. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
The body will be take from the Campbell funeral chapel at Batavia to the PEEBLER home Friday noon.
