Obit. James LAUGHLIN, born Feb. 23, 1829, Westmoreland Co., Pa., d. at Libertyville, Jan. 23, 1902. Came to this state in the fall of 1854 and settled in Jefferson County. In the fall of 1860 (27 Dec.) married Miss Mary BISHOP and in 1861 removed to Wayne County and remained there until 1867 when he returned to Jefferson County where he remained until death.

Father of seven sons, all living but two. Funeral held Saturday at the home of his sister Mrs. Martha TROUT; remains interred at Bethel Cemetery.
