Page 6, Column 3(From Monday's "Daily") Died in Libertyville, Johnson R. LAUGHLIN, at his home this morning. About 70. One of the best known and highly respected citizens of Libertyville.
Survived by wife and one daughter, Mrs. Ada LEEDY of this city. Three sisters: Mrs. Samuel CREEK of this city, Mrs. Maggie TROUT and Mrs. Martha TROUT, and one brother, Stewart LAUGHLIN of Libertyville also survive.

Page 5, Column 2A tribute of respect to Johnson R. LAUGHLIN, who was born in Erie County, Penn., June 4 1836. Enlisted in Co. F, 3d Reg. Iowa Volunteers, Aug. 22, 1861. Served three years and on Sept. 19, 1864, was honorably discharged.
Nov. 17, 1864, married Elizabeth SMALLRIDGE and has one daughter and three grandchildren who survive. Came to Libertyville in 1882 where he has lived ever since with the exception of the four years when he was Supt. of the County Farm. Died May 27, 1907, age 70-11-23.
