Mrs. F. Joe HOFFMAN, 81, long time resident of Jefferson County, died last night at Jefferson County Hospital. Fell Cemetery. Raymond Funeral Home.

Katie L. HOFFMAN, born Sept. 27, 1877, near Batavia, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Augusta PEEBLER WAGNER. Reared and educated in the Batavia community. Married Dec. 23, 1897. Husband died Apr. 11, 1948. Member Libertyville Methodist Church.

Survived by children: Mrs. Lee GALLUP, Libertyville; Mrs. Inez GLOTFELTY, Dennison; Mrs. John BUCK, Mt. Morris, Ill.; Mrs. Clarence LUVAAS, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Ira DAVIS, Mt. Morris, Ill.;11 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren; 3 sisters: Mrs. Ida RODABAUGH, Hardin, Mo.; Mrs Margaret GLOTFELTY, Mt. Morris, Ill., and Mrs. Ollie MILLER, Hedrick. Preceded in death by one son, three sisters and one brother.
