MRS. HESTON DIES OF HEART ATTACK

Death came suddenly late this morning to Mrs. Lorenzo R. HESTON, 119 South Main street. It was reported she died of a heart attack shortly before noon and that she had been in her usual health before her death.

She is the widow of the late Lorenzo HESTON, founder and one-time partner of the Heston and Anderson factory here in Fairfield, a firm which still bears his name and the name of his partner, the late Abner Anderson. The two men established the factory in 1921.

L. R. HESTON died June 6, 1944, at the University hospital in Iowa City following a minor operation. He too died of a heart attack.

Mrs. HESTON was the former Ruth LARSON. She was united in marriage on October 10, 1917 and spent her entire married life in this community.

She is srvived (sic) by three children; Mrs. L. B. CARTER and Mrs. Lewis WHITNEY, both of Fairfield; and John HESTON, Cedar Rapids.

The body is at the Hoskins funeral home where last rites are pending.

HESTON RITES 2 P.M. TUESDAY

Last rites for Mrs. Lorenzo R. HESTON, well known Fairfield resident who died suddenly about noon Saturday, will be held Tuesday afternoon at the First Methodist church.

The services will be at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be taken from the Hoskins funeral home to the church at 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. HESTON died suddenly about 11:45 a.m. Saturday. She suffered a stroke at her home, 119 South Main street, and died almost instantly. She had been in her usual health previously.

Ruth Evelyn HESTON was born June 8, 1889, in Jefferson county, and spent her entire life in this community. She was united in marriage to Lorenzo R. HESTON, former manufacturing plant owner who preceded his wife in death on June 6, 1944. He died of a heart attack at the University hospital in Iowa City following a minor operation.

Following the death of her husband, Mrs. HESTON had been employed for some time at the Fairfield Glove company. She was a member of the Methodist church, the O. E. S. White Shrine and the Philathea class of the Methodist church.

She leaves the following children: Mrs. L. B. CARTER and Mrs. Lewis WHITNEY, both of Fairfield; and John of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Ralph LARSON and Mrs. Elmer DAVIS, Fairfield; Glen LARSON and Mrs. Maude BLACKFORD, both of Minneapolis; and Floyd LARSON of St. Louis.

To All Whom It May Concern:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and testament of Ruth L. HESTON, deceased, dated December 27th, 1949, having been this day filed, opened and read, Thursday the 9th day of August, 1951, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock A. M. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.

Dated at Fairfield, Iowa, August 1st, 1951.
