Born near Libertyville, Dec. 14, 1869, daughter of the late William and Clarinda BIVENS AMISS; married Nov. 24, 1890, at Fairfield. Member Methodist Church.
Survived by husband and children: Fay HESTON, Rock Island, Ill.; Wm. HESTON, Fairfield; Leroy HESTON, Knoxville; Fred HESTON, Batavia; Mrs. Nellie EATON, Davenport; Mrs. Tom BAGBY, Fairfield; Mrs. Edith CASE, Davenport; Floyd HESTON, Davenport; and Mrs. Viola WHITE, Kirwin, Kan.; 20 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie BONNETT, Eldon, and Mrs. Eliza JAMISON, Ottumwa. Preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
