BATAVIA. Robert W. FRIEBERG, 38, Batavia farmer, died Sat. night at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be Tues. 2 p.m. Batavia Methodist Church. Burial in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville. Masonic rites. Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Born Nov. 19, 1926, in Fairfield, son of Carl and LaRue CLARK FRIEBERG. Most of his life was spent in the Batavia area. He had been a rural mail carrier in Batavia for the past 7½ years. Married Patricia SEDORE Sept. 20, 1953.

Surviving are wife, four children, David, Daniel, Nancy and Janette; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl FRIEBERG, Batavia; one sister, Mrs. Dwight JONES, Ottumwa; and one brother, Harold FRIEBERG, Birmingham. Veteran of Korean War. Member Batavia Methodist Church and Kilwinning Lodge No. 198, AF&AM.
