KENNETH L. FORDYCE, 50, SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT, DIES.

Monday night, at his farm home west of Libertyville. Apparent heart attack.... Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. A farmer by occupation. Spent most of his life in Jefferson County.

Born Aug. 28, 1913, in Des Moines Township, son of Oren and Meta LAUGHLIN FORDYCE. He was educated in the Libertyville schools. Married Elinor JOHNSTON April 3, 1934. Was first elected to the board of directors of the Fairfield Community School District in March, 1959; named vice-president of the board in 1961. A year later he was elected president. Member Libertyville Presbyterian Church.

Survived by wife and children: Robert, Gordon, Dana and Jane, all of Libertyville; also his mother, Mrs. Oren FORDYCE, Libertyville; one grandson and two brothers, Merwin FORDYCE, Libertyville, and Tom FORDYCE, Wellman. His father and one grandson preceded him in death....
