Pvt. Loren DAVIS of Libertyville died of wounds on Oct. 20. Co. M, Rainbow Div.

Born Nov. 10, 1890. Survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wallace DAVIS who reside at Moline, Ill., three brothers, Bert DAVIS who is in France, Marion in Kansas, and Rue of Libertyville, two sisters, Mrs. CLAPPER and Mrs. STANFORD of Moline.

Note: Loren was a Private in the U.S. Army, 168th Infantry Regiment, 42nd Division, and is buried at the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery in Romagne, France. Src: www.abmc.gov . His name is also noted on a boulder in Fell Cemetery, near Libertyville, IA, honoring soldiers from 1861-1918.
