Wm. Eakin COWAN was born in Westmoreland County, Pa., Dec. 12, 1833, and died at his home in Libertyville Mon., Jan. 29, 1917, age 83-1-16.

Came with his parents to Iowa 1852. In 1855 he removed to Bloomington, Ill., and was married to Caroline M. McCAIN Mar. 21, 1860, at that place.... Survivors. Fell Cemetery.
