John M. CLARRIDGE, former chief of city police, died Sunday.... Fell Cemetery. Methodist Church. Mason.

Born Nov. 7, 1898, in Libertyville, son of the late Oliver and Dolly COLEMAN CLARRIDGE. Married Marie HARMS who survives. Home in Fairfield since 1936.

Also survived by two sons, John of Garden Grove, Calif., and Donald now serving in the armed forces; and a daughter, Mrs. James HENDERSON, Keota; also five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie MIZER, Los Angeles, Calif., and a nephew, Paul MIZER also of Los Angeles. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
