Mrs. Daniel W. CARTER passed away at 6 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, Prof. Charles CARTER.... Interment will be made in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville.

Margaret Jane POLLOCK was born at Elizabeth, Penn., Aug. 23, 1846, daughter of Thomas and Jane ALLEN POLLOCK. With her parents she came to Jefferson County in 1856. The family settled on a farm about a mile west of Libertyville. In April, 1868, she was married to Daniel W. CARTER. Mother of two children -- Rena E., who passed away in 1903, and a son Charles with whom she made her home after the death of her husband in 1904.

A brother, John T. POLLOCK, Libertyville, nephews and nieces in Spokane, Wash., Ventura, Calif., and a little granddaughter Joan survive. Presbyterian Church.
