Clinton BROBSTON Taken In Death

LIBERTYVILLE, Ia. -- Clint BROBSTON, 76, a resident of Libertyville, passed away about 2:45 a.m. this morning.

The body is at the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield where last rites are pending.

He was born in Jefferson county in 1881. He made his home with his sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Paul ROBERTSON.

Clint BROBSTON Rites Thursday

Funeral services for Clinton O. BROBSTON, 76, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Elton Coleman. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

BROBSTON died Tuesday at the home of this brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Paul ROBERTSON, in Libertyville. He had been a resident of Jefferson County for 40 years and formerly worked for the C. B. & Q. railroad.

He was born in 1881 at Libertyville, the son of Edwin and Eliza Ann COURTNEY BROBSTON. He was unmarried.

Surviving are a brother, Iliff BROBSTON, Birmingham, and three sisters, Mrs. ROBERTSON, Ethel BROBSTON, Geneva, Ill.; and Mrs. Frank BIEBER, Oak Park, Ill.

One brother and one sister are deceased.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, in Lot 3rd.133. Clint had been married in Sioux City, IA, on July 12, 1920, to Emily Matilda 'Emma' COLE BECKENHORST. Likely they were divorced, as she remarried in 1924 for a third time. She died in 1972 as Mrs. STEVENS and is buried in Sioux City, IA.
